We don't know yet how Alaska's Gov. Sarah Palin and her crew did in the Capitol Steps Challenge, but the results are in for Indiana. Gov. Mitch Daniels and his stalwart team of Hoosier bureaucrats, including Becky Skillman, Cheri Daniels and 17 other put-upon pencil pushers, collectively logged more than 2,100 miles and averaged more than 200,000 steps per team member between Jan. 1-14. Daniels himself consistently reached the maximum of 30,000 steps each day of the competition. Twelve other states, including Alaska, participated in the competition. Results will be announced Feb. 12.
