Gov. Mitch Daniels wants to know when Indiana's financial bleeding might stop. But he's not getting much help from the state's budget forecasting committee, better known as the optimist's club. The forecasting committee's latest prognostication was $254 million off; this was the third time the committee, which consists of analysts from each of the four legislative caucuses, plus four extra number crunchers for good measure, has figured the state would bring in more money than it did.
