I'm interested in learning at what point in your journalism education were you taught that "name calling" should ever be used when composing an article? Your article "Sen. Stutzman's Patriot Game" (Hoppe, Feb. 11-18) not only failed to express a concise point, but resorted to using ad hominem attacks. I also find it odd that you chose to cite Pericles. Study your history a bit more to learn how and why Athens went to war with Sparta in the first place. Though Pericles is generally understood to have been a populist, if he were making the Gitmo decision it would certainly be more like Bush than Obama.
You also misunderstand the Sen. Kennedy quote you used: If the Obama administration sends "billons" in economic "stimulus," who is doing what for whom?
I hope to see better written articles from you in the future.
