Love the smell of gasoline? Soon, thanks to uFlavor, you may be able to enjoy the taste, too - without the annoying feeling of being eaten alive from the inside out.
uFlavor, a local startup company, plans to offer what they call "User-Generated Refreshment." Though that tagline might make you think of astronauts drinking recycled urine, uFlavor might be onto something: completely custom flavored drinks.
Sure, we've been offered custom flavored drinks before. (Pimp Juice, anyone?) But uFlavor's founders are banking on the customize-everything product trend and will present their business model Thursday at Verge, a regular gathering of investors and entrepreneurs in Indianapolis.
According to a Verge blog post, "users will be able to create their own custom drinks by selecting flavors, carbonation levels, and package designs." Personally, I can't wait to design the oil-flavored "Keystone Kwencher Xtreme," a tar-sands-flavored gift to Mitch Daniels for his support of the development of the Keystone XL pipeline.
