The Colts organization held their 2014 Cheerleader audition final showcase Thursday at the Hilbert Circle Theatre in Indianapolis.
The event started two weeks ago with 150 girls practicing routines and being judged for their ability to learn a new routine. With only two weeks of training, they cut the number of girls to 46, which would appear at the Hilbert Circle Theatre. There they were judged in front of a panel of former cheerleaders and other members of the Colts organization.
The guest host for this event was Colts punter Pat McAfee. McAfee entertained the audience and went as far as doing a skit seen in the movie Risky Business in his underwear. He also dressed up in a speedo. All money raised at this event will benefit Down Syndrome Indiana, a support and networking organization that helps families make connections with the resources they need in order to help their loved ones with down syndrome. It also facilitates social events that promote lifelong friendships.
Congratulations to the 2014 Colts Cheerleaders.
