Singer/Songwriter Nick Lowe and the Nashville based Los Straightjackets packed Hi-Fi Indy in Fountain Square for a great show Wednesday night.  The band worked their way through a couple dozen songs, including some new tunes, some classics, a tune or two from Lowe's Rockpile days, a tune not yet recorded and of course his biggest U.S. hit “Cruel to be Kind”.

Lowe looked and sounded great, was engaged with the crowd and his looks contrasted wildly with Los Straightjackets, who wore dark suits and something akin to Mexican style Wresting Masks or Lucha Libre as they are more commonly known.

Singer/Songwriter Esther Rose, originally from Detroit, now living in New Orleans, performed a cool set of music, much of it from her recording You Made it This Far.
