Age is just a number or so it would appears to be when the legendary Johnny Mathis took the stage at the Center for the Performing Art's beautiful Palladium.

At 84 years of age, Mathis move effortlessly across the stage from side to side, pausing to acknowledge the sold out crowd. Backed by an orchestra of some of Indy's finest musicians, Mathis sounded great as he worked his way through two dozen tunes from his extensive songbook.  Well known standards and many of his biggest hits were performed, including "When I Fall in Love, Chances Are, Gina, Moon River and Misty"
