Grammy award winner and singer-songwriter Jason Isbell w/his band "The 400 Units" performed to a sold-out, very vocal crowd at the beautiful Palladium in Carmel, IN this past Saturday night. 

In addition to his solo work, Jason is known for his time spent with Drive-By Truckers for a half-dozen years. Band members include Sadler Vaden on guitar and back up vocals, Jimbo Hart on bass & vocals, Derry DeBorja on Keyboards, Chad Gamble on drums & vocals and Amanda Shires on fiddle & vocals. 

Note the tattoo on Isbell's left arm, which a quotation from Dylan's tune "Boots of Spanish Leather". Amanda Shires also opened the show with Isbell sitting in throughout. She has released several solo albums as well as a highly acclaimed album "The High women" as a founding member of the band along with Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris, and Natalie Hemby.
