Billed as Harlem 100 - Featuring Mwenso & the Shakes, Michael Mwenso and his band put on a great show at the , taking the crowd on a journey through the Harlem Renaissance. Special guests included vocalist Brianna Thomas, South African vocalist Vuyo Sotashe and tap dancer Michela Marino Lerman.    
Paying homage to great Harlem venues such as the Apollo Theater and the Cotton Club, the band performed tunes from the early days of Jazz. They worked their way through songs by Fats Waller, Bessie Smith, Duke Ellington, Langston Hughes, Billie Holiday and of course Louis Armstrong.
Backing up the fantastic vocalists,  were several of New York's finest young players including Julian Lee and Ruben Fox on saxophones, Russell Hall on bass, Kyle Poole on drums and pianist Mathis Picard.
