A frequent visitor to Carmel's beautiful Palladium, Boz Scaggs was back at it again this past weekend and the Palladium crowd was into it. He announced early in the show that he would introduce the packed hall to many new tunes, and he did.

In addition, He sang a wonderful version of "Rainy Night in Georgia", written by the recently departed Tony Joe White and made big in 1970 by Brook Benton.  He also performed the Hoagy Carmichael penned tune "Georgia on my Mind", made famous by Ray Charles on his 1960 album The Genius Hits the Road. Scaggs finished the night with back to back hits Lowdown and Lido Shuffle.
