Norbert Krapf has been named Indiana’s new state poet laureate. Krapf is a native of Jasper and known around town for his jazz readings with Monika Herzig. Since 1976, Krapf has written or edited 21 books. This fall, IU Press will publish his latest collection, Bloodroot: Indiana Poems. Krapf will represent Indiana and the art of poetry through development and implementation of programming to the education community and general public.
