Threatening weather put a damper on Indy Jazz Fest last weekend. The annual celebration of the city’s jazz heritage drew just 14,000, the lowest attendance in the festival’s 10-year history. Fortunately, Saturday drew a large enough crowd for the festival to break even. The American Pianists Association, the festival sponsor, promises it will bring the festival back in 2009.
