The Indiana Ice completed an improbable three-game comeback over the Cedar Rapids Roughriders Wednesday night, to advance in the USHL playoffs.
A sudden-death overtime goal by defenseman Anthony Bitetto sealed the win in the final game of the five-game series; it is the second year in a row that the Ice have eliminated Cedar Rapids from the playoffs. The Ice will now face the top-seeded Green Bay Gamblers, who swept Waterloo in their first-round series.
Green Bay will have home advantage, but the third and fourth games of the series will be played in Indianapolis. Information on tickets, time and location will be posted here once it becomes available.
