• The Vintage Indiana Wine & Food Festival will be held June 3 in Military Park downtown. Samples of more than 100 wines from multiple Indiana wineries, live music, a variety of foods from Indianapolis restaurants, an interactive children’s area and a wine/food educational area with live demonstrations will be on offer from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Designated drivers receive free non-alcoholic beverages throughout the day. • The Celebrate Irvington Festival June 3, besides being a festival in and of itself, has many events happening alongside it, such as an open house at the Studio School & Gallery, 5622 E. Washington St., from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Patrons will have the opportunity to learn more about the classes the gallery offers and hear live music from Danielle Meinsen & Kathy Hershberger, fiddlin’ duo, from 9-11 a.m. and local Irvington residents the Dancin’ Nancys band from 12:30-1:30 p.m. The Amalgam Local Art and Music Festival will also be going on at the Irving Theatre, 5505 E. Washington St., the first event there in 14 years. At 11 a.m, a diverse range of art by artists living in and around the Indianapolis area will be presented and Irvington-based singer-songwriters will perform acoustic music sets at the gallery opening. At 7 p.m., an all-ages music showcase will feature artists from the local music scene, including Loretta, Everything, Now!, Twilight Sentinels and ESW, plus nationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Josh Garrels. Tickets for the evening show are $7.

• Conner Prairie’s Indiana Festival, Celebrating the Arts, Music and People of the Midwest, will be held June 3, 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. and June 4, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Attractions include an Art & Craft marketplace, four stages of entertainment, a kids’ activity area, a cultural game tent and a variety of ethnic cuisine. As well as artwork from Indiana and across the nation, the musical talents of nationally acclaimed performers as well as talented regional and local performers will be exhibited. Performers represent several musical genres including folk, Celtic, blues, traditional American, country, bluegrass and jazz-funk. Hands-on instrument workshops will also be offered.
