Calling all Earth-savers!

Today is your last chance to buy $5 tickets for the Hoosier Environmental Council's annual summit, Greening the Statehouse.

Held on Dec. 10, the annual forum will feature a full day of eco-focused discussion aimed at bettering the Indiana environment. Local and national experts will propose solutions for area mass transit, water pollution and clean energy policy.

The day includes a discussion with former E magazine editor Jim Motavalli, who'll touch on mass transit solutions, green car technology and its possible impact on the Indiana auto manufacturing industry.

Purchase tickets online from HEC's website.

For more details, check out NUVO's longer blog feature on the event. After Nov. 18, ticket prices will raise to $20/$15 for students.
