Rock and roll magic happens amidst the oddest of events. The Drive-By Truckers, (who open for Tom Petty in Indy on July 10) were rocking a headline set at a bar in Little Rock, Ark. June 25, when the power to their instruments disappeared. And there was bit of a delay in getting it fixed.
So they improvised.
Worth the patience during a minute or so of the band telling the audience to be cool about the problem. The crowd - and we via the magic of the internet - were justly rewarded by the band's version of "Concrete and Dirt."
