•    Indianapolis band the Virgin Millionaires has signed a record deal with Outlook Music Company out of Denver, Colo., a subsidiary of Fontana/Universal. The group will record its debut full-length record in Los Angeles, Calif., with producer Andrew Murdock.

•    Local rockers Seven Degrees from Center have decided to call it quits.

•    The biggest local rumor of the week is that the House of Blues has started negotiations to buy the Vogue, Broad Ripple’s music nightclub. This has not yet been confirmed.

•    Bonnaroo, slated for June 14-17, 2007, has announced it is in the final stages of purchasing the land where it is held. This is great news in securing the future of the annual festival.

•    The now infamous Velvet Underground acetate that sold on eBay for more than 100k apparently has been leaked online. The winning bid turned out false, and eventually it sold to a private collector for 25k.

•    The Killers reportedly rejected Ghostface Killah’s desire to record with them.
