The Jazz Kitchen will showcase some large jazz sounds for the weekend with the swinging 16-piece Jimmy Coe Big Band on Friday, March 28 for two shows at 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. The groove will be catching on Saturday, March 29 when the hot new sounds of Seven Pleasures, acid jazz, funk and hip-hop, takes the bandstand for two sets at 9 and 11 p.m. April 1 will be celebrated with the return of "College Big Band Night." Groups from Butler University, DePauw University and the University of Indianapolis will each play a set and present the next generation of jazz artists from 7 to 11 p.m.
