Heartbeat: Chuck D talks race, rap, religion

Chuck D

Chuck D of Public Enemy will be the featured speaker at the Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center tonight; he's scheduled to give a lecture called "Rap, Race and Religion," in a talk sponsored by the Union Board. The event is free.

It's rare to get a chance to see such an influential figure give a talk on what will undoubtably be an interesting topic for free. Thank you, local universities for bringing great resources to students and the general public. Hop in your car and skedaddle down to Bloomington for the lecture, which begins at 6:30 p.m.
