To celebrate the classic cocktail, Morton's, The Steakhouse, 41 E. Washington St., is offering select signature mixes for $3 each on Mortini nights, Wednesdays and Thursdays, starting at 5 p.m.
Complimentary filet mignon sandwiches are also served with your select Mortini specials.

Mary Beth Gahimer has reopened The Barking Dog Cafe in the historic Indianapolis City Market next to Roly Poly.
The original Barking Dog started in Franklin, Ind., in August of 2002 serving gourmet hamburgers, hot dogs and hand-cut fries. In relocating to the City Market, Gahimer decided on a different approach to The Barking Dog Cafe.
Continuing with the high standards and quality she started in Franklin, she decided on a new menu format that would primarily focus on "down east New England and Nantucket summer shack" cuisine. The basic menu consists of Tucker's Nantucket Clam Chowder, Lobster Rolls (a fresh made to order lobster salad served in a grilled hot dog bun), made-from-scratch chicken, tuna and egg salad served on Great Harvest breads, MB's cole slaw and deviled eggs.
There are also made-from-scratch soups, cookies and desserts. In addition, she offers a special of the day that ranges from a seared meatloaf sandwich to grilled citrus soy marinated scallops on a soba noodle salad.
Blackwood's Monon Café
Blackwood's Monon Café announces the opening of its new outdoor deck overlooking the Monon Trail. Complete food and beverage service is available on the deck during all hours of operation. Also just opened is Blackwood's new Smoothie Bar.
Blackwood's is now open for dinner on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. In addition to the extensive regular menu, Blackwood's new dinner menu will include beef, chicken, pork, fish and pasta dishes.
Blackwood's Monon Café is located at 1403 E. 86th St., where the Monon Trail crosses 86th. Current hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Reservations are accepted and recommended on weekends: 202-EGGS (3447).
