13th Annual Wine Cornucopia

The 13th Easter Seals Crossroads Wine Cornucopia, presented by 21st Amendment Wine & Spirits and Perkins Van Natta Center for Cosmetic Surgery and Medical Skin Care, offers an evening of enjoyment and elegance.

The event features the opportunity to taste some of the world's best wines at dozens of tasting stations as well as a silent auction, a light hors d'oeuvre buffet and entertainment by Jack Gilfoy Trio. The silent auction will feature wines, art, collectibles and other intriguing items. Proceeds from the Wine Cornucopia allow Easter Seals Crossroads to continue its mission to work in partnership with children and adults with disabilities or special needs and their families to promote growth, independence and dignity.

A limited number of tickets are available for the Prestige Area where guests have the opportunity sample a select group of the top wines from around the world.

The event will be in the Indiana Convention Center's Sagamore Ballroom Friday, May 7, 6:30-9 p.m. Guests must be 21 year of age to attend. General admission tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the door. Prestige Area tickets are $100 and include general admission. Mother's Day Brunch

The Oceanaire Seafood Room, 30 S. Meridian St., will offer a special brunch menu on Sunday, May 9, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. in honor of Mother's Day.

Executive Chef Ryan T. Nelson will prepare an exceptional menu which will include such items as crab cakes, dungeness crab eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon and Hollandaise, Icelandic Arctic char, an egg souffle with citrus-soy glaze in addition to many of the regular fresh seafood offerings.

Stroll into Spring

Enjoy the beauty of Indianapolis' historic Old Northside neighborhood while participating in a fund-raiser for the President Benjamin Harrison Home and the Morris-Butler House Museum. You will be provided a tour of six sites, with a meal course at each. Featured locations are the Morris-Butler Home, Stone Soup Inn, Looking Glass Inn, Harrison Home, The Propylaeum and The Villa.
