Wenck in the Dark

From radio personality Ed Wenck: "During an interview

regarding the new laws allowing micros to sell their wares on Sunday 'to go', I

jokingly asked if BR Brewpub might name a beer after moi. Shameless

In the spirit of fairness, here's BRBP's story: "Never one

to back down from a dare this lager made with darker malt than a traditional

lager, making it a bit sweeter and heavier,was named for Ed Wenck at WIBC."

While at BRBP also try Maibock, a big, amber, full-bodied,

sweet malty lager and the bigger, ruby-red Doppelbock hinting at raisins and

caramel. Traveling John's Best Bitter bright, clean throughout, lingers with a

fruity/citrusy hop over the caramelized specialty malts.

Forthcoming at BRBP: a special Cinco de Mayo offering. You

can hear Ed Wenck each weekday on IBC, from 3 to 7 p.m.
