60 wrd/min art critic is an ongoing project by Chicago Tribune

columnist Lori Waxman. Since 2005, Waxman's internationally

acclaimed performance has resulted in more than 700 written

reviews for artists in underserved and underrepresented arts

communities across the United States and Europe. 60

wrd/min art critic also reveals the critique process in real-time

as artist, artwork, critic, and review all exist in the same space.

During the three-day performance at Herron, Waxman will

review artwork by artists of all ages, skill levels, and artistic

disciplines. Reviews are free of charge and will be scheduled

and written in twenty-five-minute increments. Artists may

request an appointment at any time by emailing critic@60wrdmin.org.
