Would you like to stretch your imagination? Would you like to compete in a cluttered publishing market? Traditional realism is the default mode for most flash fiction. How do you stand out as a flash fiction writer? Write differently. In this class we will work briefly on realism flash fiction, and then spin away into more imaginative terrain: persona texts, conceptualism, appropriated forms, and so on.
