Certainly, clarinetist and saxophonist Frank Glover has always been a known quantity in clubs around town, performing with his quartet Mondays at the Jazz Kitchen and in a duo setting with Claude Sifferlin just about everywhere (currently Thursdays at the Chatterbox). But now his recorded output should find new life on Owl Studios, to which Glover signed in February. Look for a national re-release Glover's 2006 album Politico as well as a project with his newly-formed modern jazz quartet KIHLO. NUVO has been friendly with Glover since the beginning; come by the office sometime to read our 1991 profile of the then recent college dropout Glover, in which he tells our reporter that Miles Davis saved his life. www.owlstudios.com
