The Second Annual Taste of Pike will be held July 29 from noon-10 p.m. at InTech Park, located at the intersection of 465 and 71st Street.
The Friends of the Pike Performing Arts Center hope to bring the community together, to celebrate diversity and to support the arts. Pike Township is perhaps the most diverse township in Indianapolis, with over 60 home languages spoken.
There will be approximately 15 restaurants representing the cultural and ethnic diversity of the Pike Township area. The TOP will also include live entertainment, cultural and fine arts and crafts exhibits, a Grand Prix Go-Kart Race and a fun zone for kids. Bands scheduled to perform include Zionsville Concert Band, Orquesta Bravo!, Groove Box, ORI, Dog Talk, Spud Puppies and Keni Washington.
Tickets are $5 in advance or $8 at the door. Children ages 12 and under are free. Tickets are available at tasteofpike.org, the Pike Performing Arts Center box office and participating National City Banks. The money raised from this event will go to support the PPAC.
