Holiday theater continues with a couple off-the-wall offerings, as well as a classic.
* The Phoenix Theatre will present Every Christmas Story Ever Told!! Modeled after The Complete Works of Wllm. Shakspr. (abridged) and The Complete History of America (abridged), Every Christmas Story Ever Told!! provides a 90-minute madcap romp through all the holiday traditions we can remember, and a few we'd like to forget. With flying reindeer, talking snowmen, the Norelco Santa, zany audience participation and a song called "Every Christmas Carol Ever Sung," the performance serves up a family-friendly alternative to more traditional fare. (However, because of its parody nature, the play would most appeal to children from middle-school age up.) Performances are on the Mainstage from Dec. 1-23, Thursdays at 7 p.m., Fridays-Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. There will be additional performances at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20 and Wednesday, Dec. 21. Tickets are $25 for those 25 and over, $15 for those 24 and under. During CheapSeats week (Dec. 1-4), all seats are $15. The Phoenix is located at 749 N. Park Ave.; 317-635-PLAY, www.phoenixtheatre.org.

Graber, the plays promise a prescription for preparation pending the perturbance of the Zombie population.
