Paula Bernstein and Elyse Schein, authors of Identical Strangers, A Memoir of Twins Separated and Reunited, are part of the Ann Katz Festival of Books. Bernstein and Schein, identical twins, didn’t know the other existed until they were in their 30s and Schein began searching for her biological mother. Both women were individually adopted as infants, and were part of a secret study on separated twins. Hear about their story Nov. 18, 7 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center, 6701 Hoover Road.
