Documentary about the making of a September 2007 issue of Vogue magazine, which was the largest magazine ever published. Once you get past the first 20 insufferable minutes of meeting all the staff (we get it, fashion is cool and we're not) and move into the nuts and bolts about creating a magazine, the backstage politics get pretty juicy. There's the photographer and fashion designer trying to get their work in the magazine, the celebrity model with hair issues and the temperamental photographer. All under the cloud of editor in chief Anna Wintour (Meryl Streep's inspiration for The Devil Wears Prada), a miserable human being but a successful business woman. Non-fashion folks could this film entertaining even if you want to shake some of the people involved. 90 minutes.
