Indianapolis Animal Care & Control will show its own kind of Super Bowl support with the first IACC Puppy Bowl Feb. 3.
A variety of puppies will vie for the crowd’s affection as they pounce, play and chew their way across “Puppy Stadium,” turf specially laid in the shelter lobby. Adopters and spectators are encouraged to come out and cheer for their favorite “players.” A fabulous kitten halftime show, music and a display of Colts team spirit will complete the day’s activities.
The IACC is located at 2600 S. Harding St. IACC opens at 10 a.m., with the main event starting at 11 a.m. and the kitten halftime show at 11:30. Anyone who adopts an animal throughout the day will be eligible to win authentic Colts memorabilia.
Adoption fees are $60 and include spay or neuter surgery, all age-appropriate vaccines (except rabies), a microchip and a heartworm or feline leukemia test
