All right. We have taken the liberty of changing Penrod's tagline - "Indiana's Nicest Day" - to ... well, whatever popped into our little heads! Just to be mischievous! Very Penrod of us (a la in the spirit of Booth Tarkington's novel) Penrod is great, don't misunderstand, but is it the "nicest" day of all? Judge for yourself: Saturday, Sept. 12 on the grounds of the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Penrod features a bazillion artists (over 300), a boatload of not-for-profit organizations (50 +), and a whole bunch of performing arts groups galavanting about on six stages. And that six stages is no exaggeration! Everything gets underway starting at 9 a.m. and going until 5 p.m., with tickets $15 day of show. Tickets are $12 in advance but we're not going to tell you where to purchase -- you'll have to go to the Web site: http://penrod.org.
