Knock on Wood in Broad Ripple

Three artists from around the country, Utah's Make Mahoney, Joel Hunnicutt from North Carolina and Hoosier Bob Sorrels, who use wood as their medium of choice will have works on view at Artifacts (6327 Guilford Ave.) in Broad Ripple as part of the annual Broad Ripple Gallery Tour on Friday night, Sept. 11 from 5-9 p.m. The Tour takes you through one of the city's most pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods. There are 19 Gallery Tour locations, including the Bungalow, Indianapolis Art Center, Editions Gallery, Sigman's Gallery, Hoosier Salon, McMurray Fine Art, and Fine Estate Art & Rugs. You can also support Very Special Arts Indiana by purchasing sushi sets made by VSAI adult artisans at various locations along the way. Students from the Broad Ripple Magnet High School For the Arts will be performing.
