The Indianapolis Home Show is the nation’s oldest and the Midwest’s largest home-focused extravaganza with over 800 exhibits. Now in its 84th year, it offers thousands of products as well as decorating, construction and remodeling ideas.
Elements of the home show include the Home Décor & Interior Design Show — “A Show Within A Show.” It is a special show during the first weekend, Jan. 27-29, at the South Pavilion. Visitors can browse and purchase specialty and unique home decorating accents from hundreds of exhibitors including designer rooms, unique home accents, artwork and pottery. Admission to the Home Décor & Interior Design Show is included in your Indianapolis Home Show ticket price.
Another main attraction includes the Centerpiece Home, built by Centex Homes, decorated by The Inside Job and landscaped by William H. Brown Landscape Architect. Built in Expo Hall in less than 30 days, this year’s Centerpiece Home is expected to be the largest (approximately 3,900 square feet) in the home show’s history.
Plus, Extreme Makeover Home Edition’s Michael Moloney will be at the home show Feb. 3-4; the Butterfly House allows visitors to interact with more than 500 live butterflies; Dean Hill, Host of DIY’s Grounds for Improvement will be at the show Jan. 30-31; Dr. Gadget will showcase the latest and hottest consumer products Feb. 1-3; and Walter Knabe, designer for Madonna, Michael Jordan and Jackie Onnasis, will present “Putting the ME in Home” Jan. 29.
This is just the beginning of all the activities and exhibits available in this family-friendly expo.
