Down on the Bayou is the Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre's latest cabaret-style show, a tribute to New Orleans and its abundant musical heritage. GHDT will present an evening's worth of new work inspired by Zydeko, Dixieland, jazz, blues, folk and Santeria sounds. They will also reprise a company staple, "Why Look at that Moon." Yats will provide Cajun and Creole cuisine. Performance dates are Feb. 13-14, 20-21 and 27-28 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 15, 22 and March 1 at 2 p.m. All performances are at The Performer's Edge, 12955 Old Meridian St. in Carmel.
