Artifacts Gallery in Broad Ripple will launch an exhibit of textiles, found objects and mixed media in Divine Collage, a collection of works by three Indiana artists. The works of Anne M. Huskey-Lockard, Lynn Devine McDonald and Bernadette Ostrozovich will be featured May 12-June 25 at Artifacts, which is located at 6327 Guilford Ave. There will be a reception with the artists on May 12 from 5-9 p.m.

Divine Collage is just one of many shows opening as part of the Broad Ripple Village Spring Gallery Tour on May 12. The Broad Ripple tour is a long-standing tradition in a neighborhood, one of the city’s six Cultural Districts, known for arts and entertainment venues. There will be 15 participating galleries and businesses this year, with offerings including ceramics, jewelry, live music, photography and painting. Venues include the Indianapolis Art Center, Editions Limited Gallery, the Hoosier Salon, Rouge, Sigman’s Gallery, the Bungalow, Turandot, Gingko and Chelsea’s. There will be a free shuttle bus available from 4:30-9:30. Cork and Cracker will provide a free wine tasting with a different wine at each location. Rouge will provide people on the tour with half-price martinis. And Naked Tchopstix is featuring half-price appetizers from 4:30-6 p.m. when you bring a Gallery Tour brochure. The Broad Ripple Gallery Tour runs from 5-9 p.m.
