"Adonis E. Noguera was born in Camaguey, Cuba, in 1972. His work has been exhibited throughout that country, winning him the prestigious Gran Primio Ponce de Lyon. In 2002, Noguera won the Broad Ripple Art Fair’s Best of Show in sculpture. He describes his work as a potpourri of music, people, soul and natural color.

Noguera will be showing iconic architectural wall murals and pediment sculptural work depicting, he says, “the sacred and profane of Cuba” at the AMACO/Brent Contemporary Clay Gallery at 6060 Guion Road. The show opens with an artist reception on Feb. 1, 4-7 p.m. and runs through Feb. 28. For more information, contact Jeff Sandoe at jsandoe@amaco.com or call 800-374-1600.
