The University of Indianapolis Kellogg Writers Series will present award-winning novelist and 2008 National Endowment for the Arts fellow Brock Clarke Feb. 5, 7:30 p.m. The free lecture begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Christel DeHaan Fine Arts Center's Ruth Lilly Performance Hall, 1400 E. Hanna Ave.
Clarke is the author of two novels, An Arsonist's Guide to Writers' Homes in New England and The Ordinary White Boy, as well as two short-story collections, Carrying the Torch and What We Won't Do. He is a two-time finalist for the National Magazine Award in Fiction. His fiction and essays have appeared in Virginia Quarterly Review, The Believer, One Story, Southern Review and many more. He teaches at the University of Cincinnati.
