play Moment of Impact, Julie Mauro and Jessica Strauss' new production gives us diverse perspectives of a shared catastrophe. Here, Strauss directs Mauro to

perform all parts in Mauro's Robert Altman-like script. In her five interwoven

but unconnected stories, five women barely register impending doom, because

they are frazzled by, respectively, a teen son, a comatose husband, a failing

career and a new boyfriend. Each scenario has its moments of despair, hope and

humor. The mother is painted too broadly, but I found the budding romance
