Classic meets contemporary

 

Works by local artists Frank Glover and Michael Schelle will be in the mix at the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra’s next concert Nov. 15 at the Indiana History Center, 450 W. Ohio St. Jazzman Glover’s Diax, in Two Parts has been arranged for chamber orchestra and will feature trombonist Jared Rodin, whose performing credits include gigs with Frank Sinatra, Slide Hampton, Henry Mancini and The Who. Schelle, composer-in-residence at Butler University, will offer Spider Baby. Works by Mozart and Tchaikovsky will fill out the program.
