NUVO goes to a Renaissance Festival

Why do they call these Renaissance Festivals? In our experience, they seem to have more to do with the Medieval period. But, you know, beggars can't be choosers. And since we've been begging for an opportunity to wear our "beer wench" outfit, we figure that phrase is applicable here.
