iMOCA is expanding the cultural landscape of Indianapolis and beyond through a contemporary approach to creative expression that encourages an ongoing, rich dialogue regarding visual culture and our lives. It fosters and nurtures new forms and ideas of artistic expression and encourages the recognition that art is all around us everyday.

iMOCA increases an understanding and appreciation of the significance of artistic contemporary cultue in today's society through active programming in education, exhibitions and community outreach. iMOCA stimulates the mind, inspires conversations and demonstrates the vital connections between life and the creative process.

Coinciding with exhibition openings, iMOCA holds Coffee & Conversation, a program that invites the public to an informal forum with the exhibiting artists regarding their inspirations, strategies and backgrounds. Coffee & Conversation participants are able to connect on a personal level with iMOCA exhibiting artists, exchange ideas and promote creative thinking.
