The Discovery Channel Pro Cycling Team (DCPCT), in partnership with the Lance Armstrong Foundation, Trek Bicycle Corporation and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway has organized an amazing cycling event that will benifit those affected by cancer.
Thousands of sports enthusiasts and cycling fans and their families will converge for a day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the RACE TO REPLACE. The race will be held Saturday, August 12, 2006 at the site of the Indianapolis 500.

Everyone can participate in the day long Race2Replace event which will include vendors, Trek demos, face painting, cool apparel, and musical entertainment by Collective Soul, and a lap around the famous race track led by Lance. Best of all, all of the proceeds from the day go to the Lance Armstrong Foundation and the Indiana University Cancer Center.
