Thumbs up: Indiana saved from itself?

Last week, Judge Sarah Evans Barker threw out a recently passed Indiana law requiring retailers to pay a registration fee for the sale of sexually stimulating materials, thereby enabling Indiana to retain its tenuous residency in the 21st century. Barker found the law too broad and too vague to pass constitutional muster. Congratulations to Elizabeth Houghton of Big Hat Books for fighting back, to Indiana’s American Civil Liberties Union for backing her up and the Indianapolis Museum of Art for joining the suit.
