There’s a strong blues presence on this album, but Blue News is willing to experiment within the traditional blues framework to create something unclassifiable. A strong rock/folk infusion melds with harmonica on “Love’s So Strong” and gives the listener a new look at a time-honored genre. The album will leave you singing the (alternative) blues.
