John Waters moves his cameras to the suburbs for this twisted 1994 comedy. Kathleen Turner is an all-American wife to Sam Waterson and proud mother of two kids (Ricki Lane and Matthew Lillard) who is so obsessed with propriety that she slaughters those that cross her rather severe lines of right and wrong. Sure, it’s basically a one-joke movie, but the joke is funny and the cast members play their parts with gusto. 94 minutes. DVD INFO: Includes a commentary track and featurettes galore.
