• After more than 40 years, Pete Best has said that he would like to make peace with Paul McCartney.

• In an interview, Keith Richards said that he had snorted his father’s ashes. The next week, a publicist and Richards denied the story.

• Fall Out Boy has postponed some of the early dates on their upcoming tour, citing health issues.

• Wilco has announced an Indianapolis date in support of their upcoming album. Wilco will perform at the Murat on June 15, 2007.

• The Police has mentioned they are considering working on a studio album after their reunion tour.

• To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, several bands are paying tribute to one of the greatest records of all time. Oasis, the Killers, the Fratellis, Razorlight, Travis and others will re-record tracks from the record. The original equipment used in the recording of the album will be used to record the songs.
