• Led Zeppelin’s reunion show was a success according to fans in attendance. Zeppelin ended the show with “Rock and Roll.” A professionally shot clip of “Black Dog” has been posted on YouTube. Unfortunately, there was not a confirmation of a full reunion tour.

• Henry Rollins is hitting the road for another spoken word tour. Rollins will be visiting the Egyptian Room on March 6, 2008.

• Wilco has added five consecutive nights in Chicago to warm up for their spring tour.

• Jack White has stated that the White Stripes may never tour again.

• Big Boi will release the lead single from his first solo record at midnight on New Year’s Eve.

• Phil Spector has hired a new lead attorney in the retrial of his murder case. The trial has been delayed so that the new attorney has time to read all of the files. Expect a new start date sometime in the fall of 2008.

• The Grammy Award nominations were announced last week. Kanye West (eight nominations) and Amy Winehouse (six nominations) lead the pack.

• Marilyn Manson has announced a full U.S. tour. He won’t be coming to Indianapolis, but there are dates in Columbus, Ohio, and Chicago.

• Pete Doherty fell ill last week (probably passed out in an alley) and had to skip the Babyshambles performance at the NME Awards Launch Party. The band pulled up a fan from the front row to fill in for Pete on vocals and guitar.
