Malik Yoba on stage

Award-winning actor Malik Yoba, known for his roles in the situation comedy Girlfriends and in Tyler Perry’s film Why Did I Get Married, will premiere his musical autobiography, Harlem to Hollywood: The Malik Yoba Experience, at the historic Walker Theatre  May 16 at 7 p.m. It’s a one-man show combining words and music, assorted characters, stories and tales chronicling Yoba’s journey from New York City in the ’60s to Hollywood. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for ages 12 and under.
