Mark your calendars. NUVO presents the first Broad Ripple Fall Music Fest Saturday, Oct. 13. There will be more than 100 bands performing everything from hip-hop to rock to folk, as well as DJs spinning. The event will donate proceeds to 19 local charities, including Joy’s House, the Hoosier Environmental Council, Rock for Riley and more. So far, confirmed all-ages live music venues include Hot Box Pizza, Luna Records Midtown, Indy CD and Vinyl, Vibes Music, Indy Youth Hostel, Boulevard Café and the Monon Coffee Company. The music venues for ages 21 and older thus far include Local’s Only Art & Music Pub, Connor’s Pub, Spin Nightclub, the Upper Room, Birdy’s Bar & Grill, The Monkey’s Tale (with an outdoor stage), the Jazz Kitchen, Chateau Gato, Casba, the Steel Pony Saloon, the Alley Cat Lounge (with an outdoor stage) and the Melody Inn.
