• Local indie rockers The Virgin Millionaires will perform at the Hard Rock Café, 49 S. Meridian St. in Indianapolis, Wednesday, July 25 as a part of Hard Rock’s Ambassadors of Rock Tour. Pepsi Smash Live will offer concert attendees the chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip for two to see The All-American Rejects perform Sept. 15 at Hard Rock Live Orlando. The July 25 Virgin Millionaires gig is open to all ages and starts at 8 p.m. Donations are suggested at the door for the Indiana Recycling Coalition.

• 2007 UIndy Battle of the Bands winners Three Piece Suit recently performed on the VIP stage at the Nickelback concert at the Verizon Wireless Music Center. The opportunity arose as the grand prize from the band’s win during last year’s Spookapalooza musical competition.
